Talent Requirements and Options
VOICE TALENT APPLICATION AND FEATURED REQUIREMENTS:
Do You Want to Become a Featured Talent on Cartoon Actors? This is Cartoon Actors, a sister character voice casting service from VoiceTOONS and United Voice Talent. We are always willing to welcome “experienced” adult and child character voice actors offering both original character voices and celebrity sound-a-like impressions.
We welcome character voice demo submissions and new voice talent applications, however to be considered for our roster you MUST fully reflect our strict character voice talent criteria outlined below. If you are a beginner seeking voice over training click here.
- EFFECTIVE January 2025: We now offer a FREE standard membership. You MUST have fully produced “character voice demos” for submission to clients, and a video demo and meet all the talent requirements below.
Know in advance, we are selective when accepting our talent. You MUST be willing to work within a “flat hourly rate” as a voice talent ranging from $150, to $400 per hour offering unlimited character voice over content. All content is at a buy-out as non-union talent. NO AI USE RIGHTS INCLUDED!

- Requirements to Be Accepted as a Cartoon Actors Voice Talent!
- Talent MUST have a professional quality home recording studio and deliver noise free tracks.
- Talent MUST have a prof character mp3 demo, and/or a video demo. Featured PAID site talent can also request a free youtube video here.
- Talent MUST be able to record, edit and send your audio files in high quality mp3.
- Talent MUST have a working email and deliver your tracks when hired within 48-hours.
- Talent MUST work at a flat “hourly rate” and select their rates per hour on their listing.
- Talent MUST accept our client studio payment terms of 7 – 10-day net, and offer free limited re-cuts.
- Talent MUST accept both our in-house full casting rates, along with any private hourly rate offered direct by clients.

AI Disclaimer
Use of any and/or all auditioned content, and voice overs, from our voice talent is strictly forbidden. You MUST negotiate the use of said content with from any voice talent in AI projects, and agree to an additional use fee, along with the original use of content within your project.
Furthermore, you expressly agree not to utilize any portion of the Talent’s file, recording or performance of Talent for purposes other than those specified in the initial Agreement between the parties, including but not limited to creation of synthetic or “cloned” voices or for machine learning. Specifically, you shall not utilize any recording or performance of Talent to simulate talent’s voice or likeness, or to create any synthesized or “digital double” voice or likeness of Talent.
You specifically agree not to sell or transfer ownership to all or part of any of the original files recording the performance of Talent to any third party for purposes of using the files for Artificial Intelligence, such as text to speech, or speech to speech uses, without Talent’s knowledge and consent. You agree not to enter into any agreements or contracts on behalf of Talent which utilizes all or any part of any of the original files recording the performance of Talent for purposes of using the files for Artificial Intelligence, such as text to speech, or speech to speech uses, without Talent’s knowledge and consent.
You agree to use good faith efforts to prevent any files of recordings or performances stored in digital format containing Talent’s voice or likeness from unauthorized access by third parties, and if such files are stored in “the cloud” You agree to utilize services that offer safeguards through encryption or other “up-to date” technological means from unauthorized third party access.
